This diagram gives a brief overview for the production of butter. The key to the diagram is that the inputs link to the suppliers, for example, the input milk (a) links up with the supplier dairy farmers (a). The packaging in the process stage has a black box around it, indicating that it is an important part of the process, but one that we are not focusing on.
